A Very accurate way to check valve guide clearance. To determine what you want for a finish clearance between the valve and the guide. Mike the valve stem and ADD the clearance desired. This dimension is the size pin that you need. We suggest that you use the Rowe valve chart to determine which pin to order. We at Rowe USA feel a honed bore is the way to go. Pins are available in sizes from .2340-.2365 (6mm), .2750-2755 (7mm) & .3085 to .3815.
